hey im anna beth. i love cars, guitars and classic rock. i grew up in my dads transmission shop. my dad and i restored our very own 1976 AMC Pacer X that was featured in HOT ROD last november.

Every girl has her own vision of the perfect man. Every girl is different, so her idea of the perfect man is going to be also. Merriam-Webster defines a man as a “bipedal primate mammal that is anatomically related to the great apes but distinguished especially by notable development of the brain.” I’m sorry, but in my opinion, men are acting more and more like apes these days. Today, it’s getting harder and harder to find that good ole southern man that opens the door for ladies. I’m not saying it’s entirely the men’s fault. One of the reasons a lot of men don’t treat women like ladies anymore is because…women aren’t acting like ladies! A good portion of women in the world aren’t getting respect because they don’t have it for themselves. If it looks like a dog, acts like a dog, then it’s treated like a dog. ~ Now let’s go back to “the perfect man” discussion. Nobody’s perfect, but true love sees past the imperfections and sees the inner beauty. Like every other girl in the world, I have my own vision of the perfect man. The perfect man would lift me up when I’m feeling down, but also remember to lower the toilet seat. He would be strong, yet gentle. He would have a great sense of humor, but know when to be serious. The perfect man won’t hang up on me because he knows it would make me sad. He doesn’t make himself tower over me when we have an argument. This guy is old fashioned and comes over to my house, instead of making me drive over to his house at night. We have a lot in common, but yet we are so different. He respects my hobbies and supports me in whatever I do. He doesn’t made fun of me because I like different things than the typical girl. He won’t call me a spoiled brat just because I’m an only child, and he will have his own job and won’t make his mother work overtime to buy him a truck. He will think I am beautiful even if I don’t wear makeup that day, and even though my frizzy hair makes me look like a baby bird he’ll keep his comments to himself. But anyways, nobody is perfect, but I believe that a “perfect man” is out there somewhere
