Bought the truck off a lot in 2005. Middle aged and wanted to go fast again. Originally went Vette shopping but you can't haul motorcycles in those things. Two weeks later it was BLOWN (as in positive manifold pressure).

Went into the 80e to fix a leak. Found some metallic parts in the pan. Did a full Transgo HD-2 kit to the spare 80e and put it in. Plan is to beef the injured one up a bit more over the next few months and hope I never have to use it. Good frictions, hard input shaft and forged forward drum. First time into an automatic trans and something I've wanted to tackle for a long while.

Pan turned out okay. Console is in and looks great.

Finally got a roll pan and hitch on the truck. Welded in and under primer. Should be able to get it painted in the next couple weeks.
Also put in a full length factory center console.
Air, cruise, tilt, ps, pb, pw, pl, heated/folding pm, auto track 4wd.
Suspension drop, de-badged, color matching, Goodmark cowl hood, Torq Thrust ST 20" wheels. Molded in roll pan with hidden hitch
Denali steering wheel, A pillar gauge pod, boost, fuel pressure, WB Gauge, added OEM full length center console.
6.0L swap, Magnacharger MP112 charger, LPE GT7 cam, 918 springs, CM pushrods, katech rod bolts, 90mm TB, 60lb injectors, CAI, Dynatech headers, custom SS true dual exhaust with cutouts, methanol injection, dry nitrous. Custom 2Bar SD tune.

4l80e swap. Transgo HD2 kit, 4.10 gear swap front/rear. Detroit TT. SSBC brake kit. 14" rotors, 3 piston calipers all 4 corners. Hydraulic brake conversion.
Stereo upgrades, alpine amp, alpine/polk speakers, infinity basslink,
Ready to enjoy it for awhile. Keep it clean and save the pennies for more power.
