Chris_2kGT's 2000 Ford Mustang GT

Built not Bought

About this Current Vehicle:

This is a 2000 Mustang GT. The car had 76k miles when it was purchased but appeared to be in showroom condition. This is when the fun began. In Feb of 07 my car was struck as I was coming home from work at 10:35pm. The lady did 3500 dollars of damage to the rear bumper, 1/4 panel, tire, and taillight. When the work was completed and the insurance finally got around to having my car put back together it was MAY!!!! Two weeks after I received my car, my rings started to go in cylinders 6 and 7. After some negotiating I purchased a replacement engine and myself and a buddy installed it on a Saturday.

Since then I have installed every modification on my car except the gears as I did not want to mess up the pinion angle.

Well thus far I have been able to get down to 13.6s in N/A form. The lowering springs are a HUGE limiting factor as I cannot get traction even with my drag radials. I will be swapping over to Fox springs and struts with hopes of getting my 60ft down to 1.7s.

Factory Options:

The slow mod ; )

Exterior Modifications:

4.6 fender emblems

Interior Modifications:

To-Do List:

Get suspension setup for street/strip. Fox v8 rears, Fox 4cyl fronts, lakewood 90/10 struts.

Also I will hit a 13.0 by seasons end N/A.
