305 TBI, Borla exhaust, electric cutout opened
I bought this 91 LO3 700R4 with 145,xxx miles back in Feb of 05. I work at a Chevy dealership and someone traded it in for $800, so I offered $1100 and they sold it to me. It was in pretty good shape. I had the state inspector at work do the inspection and he charged me $25. It took about $300 to pass MD inspection, (it needed inner & outer tie rod ends, trans mount, headlight bulb, 1 tail light bulb, and a dash bulb). It had brand new tires and wheels on it, and the paint was relatively new (maybe a year?). I was told it had the engine rebuilt at 125,000 miles, but I don't know. It needed a good inside cleaning, but now it looks good. I had to put a new fuel pump in it soon after I bought it, (took me and one of the techs like 6 hours). I gave her a tune up, new brakes all around, and some other misc things, like the headliner recovered and replaced the dash pad. Oh yeah, the AC blows really cold and the T tops don't leak!!!!
None of my current friends understand why I bought the Camaro. It looks like the same car I wanted when I was in high school, red w/ t-tops, Always dreamed of having one. I really didn't know much about working on cars when I bought her. But thanks to
and all the guys who have been teaching me so much. She is now really starting to come together.

Well, somebody decided to slash all 4 of my tires. The Khumos were a little over a year and a half old, and had seen better days, but they weren't quite ready to be replaced yet. But I was starting to think about replacing them in the spring or summer anyways. Luckily I had bought some 00 Trans am 16x8 wheels with cheap all season tires mounted on them for only $100 a few months ago, as winter tires/wheels. So I had to put them on a few weeks early. I don't think it looks to bad.

I bought one up in Carisle last weekend. Had the day off, very easy install, took maybe an hour at most. There was a ton of old leaves packed in between the radiator and the condenser. Guess it's been awhile since I looked anywhere close to that. I've order the vinyl decals for the simulated hood scoops on my new hood. And I am really getting serious about getting my SLP headers installed along with the 4th gen rear.

Well, I won a Borla catback system on Ebay for $275. It's for the 4th gen F bodies, But with just a little modification it's in. It sounds sooo much nicer than the Flowmaster catback I had. I integrated a McCord Power Plate electric cutout into the system. Getting the catback on is really getting me motivated to put my headers on. I guess I'm gonna have to start getting the hardware and gaskets, and just set aside a weekend and put them on.
