About this Current Vehicle:
Just a truck right? You're right... it is JUST a truck. Before you knock it you must understand that I have a goal in mind. I bought this truck in high school as a daily driver, never thought it was in the least bit "fast". However, I began to research and discovered that the world record for a 4.8l Silverado n/a was a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. I began moding and eventually was able to muster a 13.9. A few other setbacks happened and a lack of money kept me going with a power adder or upgrading the suspension, or a motor swap so I kept chasing the record.
In 2005 another new record was set for the n/a 4.8l motor at 13.2 in the 1/4 mile. I still havent passed that record, but I'm closer. Currently I am now running 13.5's with a crappy 60ft time and weighing in at a tick over 4300lbs on most track days.
After i get the record, im going to swap the tired old motor out for a 6.0 or better and do what ive been wanting to do with this truck for years now.

Factory Options:
*4.8l Regular Cab Short Bed
Standard as standard could be.
Didnt even have a radio when i bought it.
W/T edition truck with rubber floors and all :)

Thanks man. Ya i was at 397 tq and 407hp, or dang near close, i cant find my sheet. I only saw 4.6 lb's on the dyno, with a stock tranny and converter. I ran an 8.5 in the 1/8th, with slicks, tranny, and a stall.
