About this Current Vehicle:

I am currently stationed in Germany. I brought my beloved 93 Z28 with me when I came over from the states. My luck prevailed when I got tangled in someone else's accident and it was totalled after only 3 months of tearing up the autobahns.

I purchased this new toy from a performance shop through the internet.....sight unseen! The seller was great to work with and stayed with me through the nearly 6 month ordeal. All the paperwork was done and it was delivered to me on 26OCT07. The shipping companies weren't very nice to it so a little work had to be done to get it going once it arrived. Now it is good to go and it is a freakin BEAST!!!!

Been awhile....lots of progress

Well, I have gotten a few things accomplished. The biggest of which was to get it to pass the db test for inspection. I started at 98.8 db through the closed Borla and had to get it to 95 or less. After many attempts, and a bag and a half of steel wool inside of a reversed custom made cone, I ended up destroying the maximum db by hitting 89.9! I am official for another year.

An update of the mods is as follows:
- Installed the Strano 35mm front and 22mm rear Chromoly hollow sway bars
- Installed a UMI Performance Chromoly, double-rod ended adjustable Panhard Bar
- Kirban short shifter (there is a big difference between shifters) This is much better than the B&M it replaced.
- I had to yank the front window tint to pass inspection. It looks so nekkid now Sad
- Innovative wiring 2ga custom power/ground cables. These are the best and Gary is a top notch guy. After installing them on my 93 I had to get them for this one also.
- LC-1 WB02
- Innovate G3 WB02 guage
- EFI Live V2 tuning software
- Got a nice set of stock SS 10 spokes for winter tires

1st MOD

My 7 year old daughter helped change out the tailights on my 01SS to the old style. These are the original/rare 93 style. Not only do I think they look better without the orange, but this allows my 93 to live on.

Factory Options:

LS1 M6, T-tops, SS, all power, black leather.

Exterior Modifications:

Choice of wheels. Right now I have borrowed ZR1's from a good friend of mine to get it to pass inspection here (Rrrrrrrrrrrrr). I will probably be rolling on Silver Z06's caus I love the beefy 315/30R18's. I have also swapped my 93's LT1 style tailights in. Long live the 93! That is pretty much it from the outside.

Interior Modifications:

Nothing noticeable other than a shiftlight with integral digital tach.

Performance:

This thing was built to perform. It has everything that I can imagine...well almost. (Everyone tells me I am never happy with what i've got.)

The motor is stock cube forged, TTP stage 4 (massive) cam , AFR, Fast, Nick Williams, SLP, Mezeire, Kooks, Borla, DMH.

Suspension/Chassis:

Currently set up for drag with BMR, Spohn, & Bilstein. I have a complete Strano, UMI, Koni & BMR setup on the way. This should make it a little more ready for Nurburgring!
