Just got the coil into day and went to swap it out. One of the easiest things to do. Unhook the connector loosen the three bolts holding it down put new one in its place and put the bolts back in. Only Problem...It didn't work. I went inside to try and figure out what else could cause it not to work so I got on rs25.com and looked up ignition module and found a thread about someones car not starting. they said there alarm killed the starter so it wouldn't start, Mine was turning over so it probably wasn't that but I tried reseting the alarm anyway. No luck. Well as I sat there trying to figure it out I had a thought...how about I check the fuse...Im a dumbass the fuse for the ignition was blown and I just let the car sit there for two weeks while I waited for a $75 coil pack to come in when the problem was a $.15 fuse. Oh well I get to drive my car now. On a side note the borla's sound badass. I though it sounded good with the stock headers one but now it really sounds like a subaru should sound.

Today I put on some Borla Unequal length headers. The installation was pretty straight foward except for a couple rusted bolts. The first owner of this car obviously had an aftermarket exhaust on before he traded the car in because the bolts between the midpipe and the exhaust, and the bolts between the engine and the headers were new. Only problem was the bolts between the headers and the midpipe were not new and rusted on. I sprayed half a can of wd-40 on them and still couldn't get them loose so I unhooked the midpipe from the exhaust and dropped the headers off the engine loaded them up in my wifes car and drove down to the shop to get them to hit it with an impact wrench. That did the trick so when I got back home I continued with the install. The only other problem I had with the install was getting it all to fit. I had to loosen all the bolts on the system so I could force all the pipes into place and tighten them down. Now that its all together I have to wait to get my new coil-pack and get the car started to hear what it sounds like.

I have to drive my wifes car untill I can get my car running again. The car I am driving now is a 2005 Hundai Tucson. I hate driving this car after I have gotten used to driving my light awd car for that last month or so. I cut people off twice today turning into roads because the tucson just doesn't have the same kinda acceleration as my RS...If I have to drive the tucson in the rain, Its a good thing it has traction control or I would spin the tires everwhere. I don't have to worry about traction in that RS it there in all conditions. Hopefully Ill have my car back on the road soon
