I bought the car May 25, 2007 from Sullivan Pontiac in Arligton Heights, IL. I searched for this car for approximatly 1 year. Only 2 available in Illinois. Car is pristine. I had a black 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air and I really wanted the white. Now it is mine!!!

BEST BRAKE REPAIR EVER-Lory and Tony got together and formed a business...she did transmissions and body work...he was a GM Certified Mechanic with many years of experience fand worked or a dealership.
They got tired of seeing people get ripped off an d basically making not enough of the huge takes and then they both have personalities...need their own business...
So they developed this Budget Auto Repair in Naperville'Plainfield, IL...and they rock and their prices riock...and they are nice to everyone. And the Repair All Makes And Models: Foreign and Domesticy
I highly Recommend Lory and Tony of Budget Auto Repair. They did an awesome job on my brakes.
They sandblasted the calipers and 3-stage painted them. Installed my new PowerStop zinc coated drilled/slotted rotors (silver) and Evolution Ceramic Pads; which, I purchased from Brakemotive on www.lsitech and got a great deal a GP $200.00 shipped. They also painted the rotor hats high gloss black; which, will protect them ffurther rom the elements. They bled all the lines and the master cylinder (did not charge me extra).
My car drives so smooth. It has never ever driven this smooth...the work they did was just amazing and extremely affordable. Additionally, they made me feel very comfortable and explained all aspects of the work and repairs. They even invite you to watch/observe the entire procedure.

Semi-Gloss Black CETA Bumper Mod
HERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MOD:
I bought ramps; and, I backed the car up on these Heavy Duty Service ramps with 15 inch extenders. That gave me enough clearance to do this withour removing the bumper.
I used blue painters tape and 3M tape Masking Film to mask off the rear of the car and the exhaust. I used canvas covers for the wheels to protect them from overspray. I have wet sanded that part of the bumper with 1500 grit sanding block. Then using the Dark Gray High Build U-POL primer(the slightly lighter primer made it easy for me to see I had complete coverage with the paint). I then sanded it with 1500-2000 grit sanding blocks (using blocks to avoid pressure poits in the sanding). Then using the Black Semi-Gloss U-POL paint. I did not use any clear coat-to avoid gloss-and decided against semi-gloss paint because of the highs and lows I could get.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY THINK that U-POL made a big difference...and the accelerant-well it is like a spray gun...the action of the accelerant mimics a spray gun...so the spray is nice and fine...no globs-blobs-runs...I really think it will make a difference.
It worked as well as I anticipated..took alot of plannng and alot of research about painting and sanding and techniques...and alot of detailed information from posts up on LS1tech and from NHRA-Trans-Am.
