Avenious - Aborted
I bought my Trans Am WS6 in September of 06'. I found the WS6 on Autotrader while I was deployed where I contacted the owner via e mail and went from there. When I returned to the states I flew to St. Louis and did the deed and drove the WS6 back to Valdosta, Georgia.
Since then the car has been my weekend warrior going to car club meets and the occasional run at the strip, during the work week it sits in the garage with a custom car cover over it. Looking to get 450rwhp after bolt ons/heads/cam on a stock LS6 intake & ported throttle body.

I haven't done anything with the car since May which blows... I'm not loosing interest in the car just been sittin on it for awhile. I need to get motivated!!!!

Come to find out the tranny didn't have a problem it was the shifter stops on the 5.0 short throw that I have. I'll be sure to remove some someday.. I'm just glad it was something dumb and not serious!

Well first off I'm glad to be back from my 4th deployment once again. I was lucky to have seen my car get dyno'd since the dyno day had been psuhed back a week.
This was my first dyno tune for the Trans Am which I have mixed feelings about. I got three pulls with the final pull resulting in 363 RWHP and 372 FT.LBS. Which I think is stellar for the bolt ons I have on the car. The car was Dyno Tuned @ South Georgia Corvette's in Thomasville Ga. I'll have the dyno sheet up tomorrow hopefully with new pictures and some video of a pull or two.
That was the good now for the bad... After the 2nd pull it was apparent that I have a serious issue with the syncro's in my transmission. I have no 1st, 3rd, 5th, or reverse in my car anymore... you can put it in gear but it'll just grind gears and force itself out of gear. I had managed to get it into 5th and reverse a few times but I had to manage driving it back to the house with 2nd, 4th and 6th gear where it sits until I find out how a T-56 transmission with 10,000 miles takes a shit. I've taken this car down the 1320 twice and I've only put just under 3,000 miles since I've owned it for the last 2 yrs. Not sure what to do yet; pretty pist to say the least. I'll be researching and asking questions in regards to the syncro's and the T-56 in general as I am not a big Tranny guy.

another nice ta =) good numbers too!
Just stopping by to see what's all new with the T/A. Hope all is well.
we should have a cruise or do something cool
Yeah thats when I was stock with poor traction.
u run faster than a 13.5 now dont u?cause stock ls1's can break that with a good driver. allthough that is a great time
