About this Current Vehicle:
I bought this car brand new in 2001 and have been modding it ever since. Everything from Super Chargers to NOS to Heads/Cam to its current state which is a 408 Stroker.
Update 11/15/08 The 408 was consuming large quantities of oil. Like 1 quart in 200 miles. This was due to the wrong pistons for the stroker. So I purchased a L92 Block and some new Diamond Pistons and will be getting this thing together in the next couple weeks.
Update 11/20/08 I pulled the motor out 2 days ago and finally had a chance to tear it down. After pulling the heads and and cleaning the pistons, I noticed a few of the pistons were in wrong. The "F" stamping on the piston which indicates it is supposed to be towards the front of the motor wasn't. These pistons have off set wrist pins so it makes a huge deal when the motor is spinning. I have the new block ready to go and the rotating assembly is getting balanced. I will start putting it together soon as the parts come back from the machine shop...
