I am retired from the Army with 21 years of service. It took me all that time and some more to finally get the car that I have always wanted. I bought the 2001 WS6 Trans Am new in Feb 01. On my first deployment after buying the TA I bought all BMR suspension, once I returned from South Korea I had it put on.
Then when I deployed to Kuwait for the invasion of Iraq, I got my heads and cam package put together. With a MTI X1 cam, TEA 5.3, stage 1.5 heads, and FLP headers, put on by Brian Tooley the owner of TEA when he was still in Bowling Green, KY. That netted me 432 hp, 410tq, and the best in the 1/4 of 11.65@121 mph. So for stage 1 of building my dream car goes to Brian Tooley and TEA.
Then my last deployment to Iraq before I retired from the Army. I got a hold of Bob Beam of EPP for my ATI Procharger. Once I returned from there and had it installed by EPP and tuned, with 8.5 lbs of boost it put down 585 hp, 496tq. Ran the best of 10.96 @ 127 mph. So for stage 2 goes to Bob Beam and the crew of EPP for there help.
Then I got with Jesse Coulter from Horse Power House in Bowling Green, Ky where I was born and raised. He helped me a lot as well as the rest of the crew of HPH. We had the stock cube LS1 built by Lawless Engine. Put all forged internals and balanced and blue printed. Changed to a different cam with Dart heads and 8.5:1 compression and 15 lbs of boost we put down 642 hp, 577 tq and ran the best of 10.68@ 134 mph. So for stage 3 goes to Jesse Coulter and the crew of HPH. The tranny is still bone stock and the car hasn't had any weight reduction done to it.
This is a street car first that goes to the track when ever I get a chance. I still have few things to do to the WS6. But for now I am very happy with it.

Hey man, finally made a pass in my car with an automatic in it, went 10.60 at 128 with Jessie's TH350 underneath. Long story short, having problems with my 4l80 swap, Jessie swapped his in there so I could make some passes before the year was over. Needl
