This is my 2001 WS6. She is my fourth f-body. I have previously owned a '94 Z28, '98 Z28, and a 02 Z28. I found this car in Greenville, NC and picked it up on May 5th, 2007. The car was all stock when I got it except for someone cutting out the factory muffler and installing a Flowmaster. I have been slowly adding things, mostly appearance mods for now. As soon as the last payment is made, on or before August of 2008, I will begin the major performance mods. Now, if I come across some killer deals, I may do a thing or two before then.
T-tops, power everything, Monsoon with 12 disc changer, etc. etc.
black overlays on front plate bird, black overlays on Trans Am on doors, stainless steel firebird sail panel covers, and hooker dual tips. update 03/01/08 New C6 wheels added!!! :) picked up a set of chrome C6 rims 18x10.5 out back and 17x9.5 up front. my front WS6 speedlines were curbed very badly when I bought the car and had to get something different.
3/24/08: Spent the weekend changing some things. I pulled all the body side molding off of the car, then pulled the Trans Am badges off of the doors, pulled the Ram Air stickers off of the hood, and pulled the WS.6 badge off of the rear bumper. Took a couple of hours to do it but was not hard at all. I like the new look much better. Now, if I can just get the windows tinted!!
I bought a set of American Racing TT2s yesterday 11/21/08. I know this is not an "original" choice for an Fbody, but I am very pleased with the look. What ya think?
Finally got the windows tinted!! I wish I could have gotten 5% tint but it just isn't worth the hassle when you have cops that love to write tint tickets and the DMV inspections once a year. So, I got the legal 35% on the windows and put 5% on the t-tops. Here are a couple of pics.
under hood: fuel rail covers, metco oil breather, brushed stainless steel battery cover with custom owner information, ss firebird ac cover, ss WS6 intake plate
ported and powdercoated throttle body, ported and powdercoated MAF ends, volant cold air intake, ram air hood baffles removed
Bought this used GMMG chambered exaust and installed last week! This thing is incredible!
I just purchased and installed Kooks 1 3/4 headers with their catted Y-pipe. I did the install myself over a weekend and it is incredible!! I am in love with the new sound and the power my baby is now making! This is my favorite mod so far!
Here are some pics of the installed headers and Y
Hotchkis shock tower brace, Bilstien HD shocks, Hypercoil lowering springs, slotted n drilled rotors,
BMR adjustable PHB, BMR relocation brackets, UMI LCA's, UMI subframe connectors.

I have completely revamped the sound system. Gone are the Sony ES pieces and the PPI Art Series amps. I now have an Eclipse 7200 head unit, ID components, Alpine components, Diamond Audio D6 12" sub, Alpine mono amp and an old school MTX 4 chanell amp. I am looking for a high sound quality 5 ch amp and box to sit up on the gas tank ledge for the 12. Then I will be done. The C-90 was the best quality unit I have ever had but I just could not deal with not being able to see the display during the daytime. Especially with the eq being controlled through the head unit. I will add some pics when I get finished with everything.
I ended up buying an old school Planet Audio 700 watt 5 ch amp and putting it in. It is so hard to top the sound quality of the mid-90s old school amps!! Here is some new pics of the new set-up
No longer have the Vig 3200 stall. Going to go another route. Will decide on that after choosing head and cam etc. Kooks headers and Y have been bought and installed! I have changed my mind again and will get the Trick Flow as cast LS1 heads and for the cam I am going to go with the Tick Performance Polluter cam.
