Damn car's worse than hookers and crack....

2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

About this Current Vehicle:

Car was bought new on 12/27/99 and started life as an M6. Was originally only going to put a lid, exhaust and gear in the car.... right-

Started pullin' parts at 18k miles, and have been slowly modding it since. The original goal was for the car to run a modest 11.99 all motor....all day, and then drive home from the track w/the A/C on and stereo blasting.

Well....after many bloodied knuckles/parts/$$$/and tuning, (and some really *really* bad words)....we reached our goal. Even though we beat our goal by almost .3 w/an 11.70, it was still not quite "good enough"(is it ever?). Eventually pulled the factory LS1 shortblock(55k *hard*miles), and installed a new '02 GMMG take out LS6 shortblock.

Went w/a slightly larger stick as well as sending the heads back to TEA (www.totalengineairflow.com) for a freshen up, along w/a few "other" little goodies. Added a with a FAST 90/NW 90 to it, and netted 457.4 rwhp/423.4rwtq.... 11.44@123mph, 1.57 60' NA. 3580# RW.

Not long after that we started paying more attention to the suspension. QA1 12 ways/coil overs were added to all for corners as well as full adjustable rod ended LCA's, T/A and drag bar. The swap from M6 to A3, bigger gear/tire combo, and the FAST90/90 have been added.

***EDIT*** VENGEANCE RACING forged L92 416"/TFS 225's is finished and in the car!
New motor went 550 rwhp/505rwtq NA. locked up through the Stalled TH400, steel DS, Moser 12 bolt/4.10 gear and28" slicks. Unlocked numbers were 525/490.

UPDATE:11-18-07
Car went 10.359@132.74 MPH on motor unlocked at +1900DA. Tried to make a nitrous pass, but N2o gremlins were present, spaying in short on/off spurts all the way down track resulting in a 10.008@133.82....

Need to get the suspension figured out. Fought lazy 60' times all day. Did manage to knock .2 off the 60', and about 2.0 seconds off the ET in eight passes. Still needs a little work. If we can shave another .2 off the 60', the car should run 10.doh's all day on motor.

Can't wait to make some full n2o hits....

10.08@133 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz3WRZ3wTNM&feature=user

Plan is a 2 kit hit on a progressive over the winter.... should help pick up where we left off. Still looking for low 9's on the hose.

Will update page as new numbers come-
