I have been IN LOVE with Fbodies, mainly Trans Ams, since I was about 14yrs old. I didn't have the advantage of having my father raise me to know about cars and help him out with fixing the old dodge; so unfortunately I am a "late bloomer" to the car world, if you will. I saw my first trans am when I was 14..and instantly fell in love with it. It was a late 4th gen, pewter, had the t-tops off and that sexy WS-6 hood. I was sitting in my grandma's minivan waiting for middle school to get out so we could pick up my sister, and I saw this crazy looking car across and down the row in the parking lot. It looked so just plain outrageous, with the agressive hood and daringly original spoiler; I HAD to get out of the car and walk over to it.
"Trans..Am?"
Yep. From that moment on, after my first 360 around that pewter beast, I was all about that car. I began to buy all the books and do my research. I basically became a walking encyclopedia of the Trans Am lol. Well as time went on, I managed to hang out with the GCFBA (gulf coast fbodies) a few times, and got my first ride in a Trans Am.
She was BEAUTIFUL!
Honestly, the sexiest Trans Am i'd ever seen! Bright Red WS6, 6 speed, black leather interior.. and man..when we hit the interstate in that car.. my obsession and passion for the car became that much more intense. It's one thing to learn about the car; but it's all just words until you hop inside and feel those 325 horses hauling that sexy red ass down I-10 at 10 o'clock at night, praying the cops have a sense of humor and wishing that wild ride would never end.
So when we found "Big Red", I was beside myself. It was very meaningful to find another Bright Red WS6...considering it was just like the one I first rode in.
And man, she was a steal! I bought her with 33,000 miles on her, as a 2000! I swear the Trans Am gods were shining down on me the day we found her! One owner, still had all the maintenance records and a clean carfax..no accidents, no nothing! The old man bought her brand new in 2000, and traded her in for a new beemer in 2007 (I say BAD call but w/e..maybe he wanted a good daily driver..so I can't blame him lol>
.
Anyway, I've had her since September, but haven't had too much time/money to do a lot to her. I have plans for her, but nothing too crazy, since I have to keep her reliable enough to drive to work every day!
So there you have it. This is my love. She was my dream car, ever since I first knew what a Trans Am is, and I consider myself very blessed to have obtained my dream car and proven that dreams do come true, in such a short period of time!

Loaded. I'll input the list from the paperwork later.
Black & Silver "Ram Air" racing stripes. All lettering and decals of factory upgraded to be black or silver. Authentic SLP Chrome Firehawk wheels currently, however, she's getting Black Chrome C6's in the not so distant future. Umm.. I don't know what else. In a sense, the exhaust is a performace AND exterior mod, so I guess the SLP Loudmouth II dual tips exhaust would count.
Nada. Got a po-po detector, that's about it. I'm not too concerned with the inside..
SLP goodies...etc..

For now i'm just doing lid, 32k stall, headers/ypipe, and new gears. Just want to make her a good sprinter; the big mods will come later when I have a new DD to drive.
She's my daily right now, so I can't get too crazy!
