This Bright Purple Metallic WS6 was converted at ASC on Feb 26, 1998, and was the 19th LS1 WS6 ever built.
It is #6 of 12 BPM WS6s built, 1 of 6 with a 6-speed transmission. Of the 12 BPM cars ASC made, 10 were coupes, 2 were convertibles, all of them were Trans Ams, and this car was the 6th one of the purple cars to be converted..
It was originally sold at Bergstrom Buick / Pontiac / GMC in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on March 25th, 1998.
I purchased this 1998 Trans Am WS6 on October 25th, 2005 from a small town dealer called 151 Auto Emporium in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. I found it purely by accident on the AutoTrader website, at a time when I was looking to buy a car, and I snatched it up 2 days after it went on sale... I am the 4th owner of the car.
Vehicle is currently for sale.... $12K or best offer.

I guess I forgot to post up that the car has been back on the road since late July, and I've been driving it whenever the weather is nice out. I really love driving this car, it reminds me of why I fell in love with the 4th gen F-body in the first place. I'm still looking for a stock exhaust.....

It will only be a few more days before it's been a year that the Trans Am hasn't been started... It lost the fuel pump on 8/05/06, and I have been too busy with other things to get it replaced... But that will be all over soon, as within a week or so I should have the clutch and fuel pump installed, and it will be back on the road. I can't wait to drive it again.
I've taken the old wheels from my Formula and put them on the Trans Am so that it can have some nicer wheels and the tire it came with from the factory, Goodyear F1s.

'Bird looks great, man.
Nice TA, nothing wrong with purple, it's something different.
I grew up with the Buick guy who posted before me, in the Omro area. He's a good guy! He had a sweet (and relatively rare) '98 WS6, he's got pics posted. Take care!

I'm not usually a purple kind of guy but that car is sweet. Your car looks amazing. Keep it clean.
