Atreyu - Honor
The car has 75k original miles on it, 20k on the LS6 motor that's from an 04 Z06 and 5-10k on all mods. I won't be doing too much to it performance wise since it's almost perfect as is. All work was done by New Era Performance in Rochester, NY.
My goal with the car is to have a fast car with street manners close to stock. I want to take a moderately powerful car and be able get traction to beat cars with more power on the street. I also want to be able to drive the car every day(if I wanted to) and get gas mileage of a fairly stock car. 400rwhp F-bodies are no doubt a dime a dozen, but how many can sneak around un-noticed and still get moderately decent gas mileage?? With the stock LS6 cam profile it looks and sounds like a run of the mill 320hp LS1 with exhaust work.
I know I won't win EVERY race, no one will...but I'm definately not going down easy. Between the car and my driving you're going to have to work for your kill.

Finally decided to take the car to Englishtown to see what it could run...the weather was too good to miss out on. Intake temp was fairly steady at 70, and no humidity.
First off, I didn't want to go 100% balls out because I'm scared of the stock rear, to the point that I almost didn't even run...but I figured fuck it. That said, I think I did ok. Here's how the night went...
Run 1 (Me vs Vtec, LOL): nerves shot and 1st time ever at the track with a stick. I wasn't sure how hard to launch, but I figured 3k would be ok...turns out it wasn't. The KDW drag radials gripped like a BITCH! It stuck and bogged so hard it almost stalled. 2.0 60' and I ran a 12.7@113, not horrible I guess but I was pissed off! Don't know where Vtec was but it ran a 15...
Run 2 (vs 70 Chevelle SS): after calming down and saying a little prayer before the launch I left at close to 3500. It bogged again but not nearly as bad as the first run. The slight bog led to another 2.0 60' and the chevelle raping me from the tree, but I snuck past him to a 12.48@114.23, vs his 13.0@102...quick car for 4000lbs, looked stock too!! I was starting to cheer up but still not satisfied.
Run 3: (vs base C6 Vette...let the fun begin): This was my haymaker, for that night anyway. I said at the beginning of the night I'd be happy with 12.4, and 12.48 was .08 too high for my liking. I finally decided to push the rear a little harder and let out at 3500+, THAT was the magic number!! It launched hard as hell and destroyed the vette start to finish! I went 12.34@114.26 with a 1.89 60' against his 12.9@113. I'm fairly happy.
Next equation: 12 bolt + 4500 launch = 11sec pass

I've decided to go backwards a little with the car. I want it simple and tasteful to keep the sleeper look, to an extent. I know it'll never be a real sleeper becuase it'll always look and sound the way it does, but I decided to take the interior back to stock...it's just cleaner that way. People will look and say "nice Trans Am" but not think any more of it than that.
Things to be done:
-new upper console(old one has holes for gauges and switches)
-remove my console gauge pod since the scan-gauge monitors everything anyway
-take out the steering wheel switch and just make simple delete plates for the audio controls
-I'm also thinking about making a custom a-pillar pod to move the gauge up a little to make it even less visible from outside the car.
So basically, the interior will look bone stock except for 1 aftermarket gauge, a nice white shift knob, and a custom Humount kit with a Pioneer CD player. It'll stick with the "bolt-on LS1 look". HEHE...

SWEET RIDE "5 STARS"
Sick bird. And venom suits it!
Hey man , How you like the look of 17s up front and 18s out back? I am thinkin of gettin 18s but not so sure yet. Does the difference in wheel dia. really affect the ABS ? I would think it wouldnt matter if I got close to the overall height of the 17&quo
it was around like 1030 am or so. i was gettin off at like exit 131 i think.
hey man i think i saw your car. I was coming off the parkway and saw a black t/a.
Your a sick fuck !!! And that car is pretty damn sexy , can't wait for a test drive!!
Nice to see my Z's heart (LS6) went to such a worthy recipient!!! I hope you have the same luck I did with it.
It was without a doubt the best all-around engine I've ever come across. Manners of a pussycat and the heart of a beast. Congrats an
