My car on a Mustang dyno back in 2004 at Exotic Performance Plus (EPP)
I ordered my Firehawk from Jay Pontiac in Bedford, Ohio in early 1999. Everything was done via online or by the phone. I still haven't met my salesman, as the day I picked the car up he happened to be off. I took delivery of it on September 11th of 1999 and drove it home from Ohio. A couple of my friends, my dad and I drove down in my friends '88 Mustang GT. On the way home his GT broke down and my Firehawk ended up being the car that we used to run around Indiana to find a new ignition module...lol It's the 9th Firehawk produced out of 741 made for the year of 2000. My salesman was Mark Timen, who did a fantastic job in handling all of my questions and concerns. I looked all around Wisconsin for a competent dealer that could guarantee me one with no luck. Because of the exclusivity of the Firehawk, I had dealers that wanted to try getting me one for a mere $10,000 OVER sticker, plus they couldn't even guarantee me based on allocations or something along those lines. I refuse to pay over sticker for anything. Finally I decided to order it through Jay Pontiac, who discounted it $1,200 under M.S.R.P. They were the only dealer that I found that could guarantee me one for whatever reasons. I talked to a few Pontiac dealers in the Milwaukee area as well as the Green Bay area and none of them sounded very confident. A couple of them seemed like they didn't even want to try! I finally went online to the former SLP message board and asked for recommendations for dealerships in the midwest that could get me one. Somebody recommended Jay Pontiac and the rest is history :-)
