About this Current Vehicle:

Bought the vehicle April 20th 2007 following catastrophic loss of white 1999 Firebird

The vehicle now has an Alpine stereo with the Monsoon type sound and I've added Red interior lighting under the pilot and co-pilot foot areas.

Added American Racing Torque Thrust II rims and Falken FK452 high performance tires on 3/7/2008

Added clear MTI SLP lid 3/16/2008. Estimated gain of 10hp.

10/10/08 Added some stainless steel door sills and engine bay stuff. pics coming soon. Also added an original 1969 Firebird emblem to my clear MTI lid. Cut my thumb in the process but, okay.

10/12/08 Raced my 6th Mustang and won. They just can't sustain the short burst and win unless they have a supercharger or NOS.

Vehicle Journal:

Flat Black Graphics

Removed the remaining red/white decals and got them replaced with the flat black graphics that I thought would look best. Bare was too bare so, flat black made a nice compliment to the gloss black.

Removed the red lug nuts and replaced with chrome lug nuts.

Removed clear MTI lid and replaced with a gloss black lid with flat black bird.

Computer Tune

Today, we computer tuned the car. Took us about 4 hours and 3/4 tank of gas to get all the parameters correct. We think we got about another 15hp out of the tune but, not sure. Only a dyno will tell that.

We think we are in the 350hp range now. I'll update my hp when I get a dyno done.

Installed LPP Headers and ORY

Got the LPP headers and ORY installed and sounds bad ass with the Magnaflow muffler and GMMG tips.

The headers and ORY are 304 stainless steel and bolted right in. Took me and another guy about 6 hours.

Factory Options:

All stock

Exterior Modifications:

American Racing TTII rims and Nitto 555 HP tires. Lowered springs

Interior Modifications:

Red Pilot type floor lighting and added some red paint to interior surfaces. Stainless Steel door sills

Performance:

K & N air filter equipped. MTI SLP airbox. Modified opening under air lid area for more cfm.

LPP 304 stainless steel Long Tube headers and ORY

Magnaflow muffler and GMMG chambered exhaust tips.

Suspension/Chassis:

Standard Trans Am suspension/ Cut springs.

Drivetrain:

Standard Trans Am automatic A-4 transmission

Electronics:

Alpine single CD and HD radio set.

To-Do List:

Still have to get the appearance stuff fine tuned to include getting the passenger window chip fixed and right side rocker molding done.

Front bumper still needs some repair and paint.

Supercharger is still on my mind but, won't come for another couple years probably.

LOL. What is Sweet and Sour Pork? Car Domain?

Thanks bro. I appreciate the great comments. I'm pretty proud of the stance myself. I cut the springs.

TTIIs really get it too. Not played out like a lot of people say.

Hey, I just seen your car on Sweet and Sour Pork. Sweet ass T/A man. That thing has the perfect stance and looks so mean. TTII's are the best looking wheels for fbodys IMO.

No, in 2004 Pontiac put out a memo authorizing all Firebirds to carry the badge...lol.

Any sticker will add at least 2rwhp.
