Saved up and bought this car for myself in high school. Bought it from the original owner in 2004 and it only had 65k miles on it, the lady had every single service record for the car too, plus original sticker and everything else you can think of when you buy a brand new car. I have paid for all the mods on the car myself (which is a lot considering I'm a full time college student!) As long as I keep the grades up my rents help me out with insurance!
Car has just around 105K miles on it, it's about that time to start replacing a lot of parts, which is something I don't want to do, so instead I'm in the process of builing and LSX motor for it. I'm most likely just going to do an LS2 with heads, mild cam (since I autoX), and mostly forged just in case I ever want to put a power adder on!
As for the suspension, I plan on getting some revalved bilsteins from Sam Strano along with some G2 springs, and subframe connectors, maybe a tubular k-member since I'm going to be droppin a different engine in there, it would be a damn good time to do that lol. I also plan to upgrade the front brakes to C5 Z06 drilled and slotted brake rotors and calipers, and just do a LS1 F-car rear brake upgrade.
All of this prolly won't happen for a while, as it is impossible to find a steady job in a college town such as gainesville, florida.
