the story how i got my Trans Am makes me appreciate it soo much more. i got into this kinda car once i moved to california for college. all my friends had mustangs so it was hard not too. the day before my 19th birthday my civics motor blew up. i lived alone hundreds of miles from any family and it broke down over 50 miles from home. ill admit i paniced quite a bit. i wasnt sure how i was gunna get to work or school without a car. i called my mom when it happened and she told me i had to get a cheap car to get me by till im done with college. she had even thought of me drivin her taurus so i had a car. a few days later she called and i had been checkin out Trans Ams but none were in my price range and the few that were were pretty beat up discolored and atleast 150,000 on the motor. She had asked what kinda car i want and i told her i was lookin for an LT1 Trans Am. after she realized i wasnt kidding she told me it wasnt gunna happen. the next day she had called cause she just happen to see a super clean one in Arizona near where i used to live. She didnt say much about it besides that. i had flown out there to celebrate my birthday a few days later and at the airport i was getting pretty frustrated cause she wasnt answering the phone i had just bought her for christmas. at the point of being purely pissed off i heard this roar from around the pick up area and this gorgeous Trans Am pulled around the corner i even ended up hanging up on my mom so i could look at this car. i had always loved how these cars look like they are completely in charge of the road that they are on. this car slowly crawled up the road purring loudly and every one turned to look. the car was beautiful. just as it was about to pass me it turned in and the window rolled down and it was her. she bought the exact car i was tryin to find. Red LT1 T-Top car. the first thing she said to me was happy birthday. i just stood there in aw asking if it was really mine just not believing it. ill never forget the kid next to me lookin over at his mom and sayin "Oh My God thats his birthday present wow" it was the coolest way to recieve a car ever and ill never be able to express how much it ment to me.
THANK YOU MOM!
