67Tempest's 1967 Pontiac Tempest

Factory Options:

None, a poor mans car. I added my own.

Exterior Modifications:

Stock Rally II wheels. Rears sent to Stockton Wheels for special offset and widened,15x8 with 275/60 BFG drag radials. Fronts, stock 14x7.

Interior Modifications:

I redid the interior myself (seats,headliner,and carpet) Grant steering wheel, added center console when i converted it to a 4 speed.

Performance:

Headers, 3 inch exhaust to the rear, functional ram air hood/pan,MSD 6AL(hidden inside glovebox).

Suspension/Chassis:

Stock(all rebuilt), boxed lower rear control arms, rear frame stiffeners, power disc brakes on the front.

Drivetrain:

This car was an automatic, i changed it over to a Muncie M-20, I pulled the 10 bolt and installed a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears,pulled non-running motor and installed 400c.i.d. that Whitmore Engine Service built. The engine has Eagle rods,Crower cam, Harland Sharp roller rockers ,ported heads, comp 9000 distibutor [mallory].
