This was my DD for over 2 years. Traded it in with 178k miles on the clock, ran strong and it will forever hold a fond place in my heart. Last time at the track it ran 14.55@96 with a horrible 2.3 60' due to shot suspension.

The waiting game
Still waiting for the perfect time to install my suspension parts. I'm getting impatient, but my days off are completely in conflict with the days the auto hobby center is open. I'm off Sundays and Mondays, and so is the Auto Hobby Center. Frick. I refuse to do this suspension work without a lift, especially the swaybars!
However, I recently noticed my outer tierods are getting worn and allowing slop in the toe adjustment in my alignment, so I'll probably be ordering replacements and doing everything at once. No need to do an alignment more than once, right?
Patience is a virtue... I just lack it.

The last of my parts have arrived
Finally, everything's in. My house that is. I need to get these installed ASAP. Found the clunking noise as well, my swaybar snapped at the driver's side endlink. Wheeee!

Tuning for dummies
I'm wondering if the publisher for the "for Dummies" series of books has considered tapping into this virgin market? There certainly would be a large number of befuddled customers like myself browsing over to Amazon.com to pick up a copy.
Reason I say this is my good friend Dan (hey Dan!) was kind enough to send me a DHP PowrTuner cable and info so that I could get into the tuning craze. A $41 serial to USB adaptor later, I was up and running. Of course, this is akin to handing a loaded pistol to a 5 year-old and saying "The safety's here, flip it this way and have a ball!" I'm sure I can learn how to tune without serious loss to life or limb, but the possibility is still there. May God have mercy on this car's poor soul.

beautiful GTP. i would like to own one but i'd like to get the S/C for mine first to see what see has for balls after force flow induc. is put into play b-4 i get rid of her.
Actually I got a DHP PowrTuner, so I can do the tune on my own. Unfortunately I'm just tuning STUPID so I'm using the freebie they give out.
I'll learn though. I will learn.
