About this Current Vehicle:
Bought my 97 used as temporary daily driver while I modded and built up my 99 GTP. while rebuilidng my 99's engine, I realized I wanted more extreeme performance out of my 99 build, so installed the already purchased medium performance mods I had sitting around on my 97 instead. My first car with a moonroof.

Engine back in car
Finally got around to re-installing engine today. I can thank the new electronica music CD's I ordered which pumped me up enough to want to get busy. The engine lift's wheel rolled back onto my toe with the entire weight of the lifted engine on it. I had to wash my mouth out with soap after that.
Bolted the engine back up, but left all the accessories for another day. Should be up and running by end of the week. It only takes couple of hours to hook everything back up... but I'm also playing around and tuning the 99GTP, getting it ready for it's first track runs.

Finally got access to trans solenoids
Finally opened up the trans back cover to get access to and change all the solenoids. Two shift solenoids, torque solenoid and Pressure switch solenoid. They were actually priced pretty descently at dealer once they applied discounts. I'll be picking them up tomorrow and the install is quick. Only held in by retainer clips.
I'll also be doing trans oil filter since I'm there anyways.

Engine & Tranny out
Engine and trans finally out. Pulled in about 4 hours since i was being lazy and thorougly unthurough. Forgot to undo a trans fluid line hanger and bent one of the lines while pulling the engine. oh well. Nothing a rotozip sawblade and rubber hose with clamps can't fix for the time being.
.... Now, IF ONLY I can get off my ass to seperate engne & trans, and fix the rear main seal so I can slap it all back together again and start tuning.

awesome GTP
well... the 99 is driving well. Scan guage registered 457HP just yesterday, course I'm assuming 15% error in the guage. whenever you're ready. Make sure ya show on on Thursday Track days. If you don't make it... we'll caravan and track your car do
