About this Current Vehicle:

This is the infamous "Christina" she is Spice Red Metallic (SRM) A4 and 1 of 369 made.

She was currently "under construction" due to catastrophic engine failure. But is back on the road.

Intitial Feelings

Well she has been to the dyno and she is up and running. Point blank this car pulls like a freight train. Some people may get "confused" with the dyno numbers, but that's okay when you floor it I can break the back wheels loose at anything under 50mph, next step the track to see what she runs in the qtr if I can hook.

And I promised myself no more mods....but it looks like the icing on the cake is a nice round 100 shot.......STAY TUNED.

ITS ALIVE

It has been a long ass time coming. Funny thing when we were putting her together yesterday and getting ready to turn her over I was telling everyone that it was pretty ironic that after close to a year of being down and issues, schedule pushes, etc that it was Mothers Day when Christina finally started running (kinda creepy huh).

But anyway to wrap it up the car idles off key but then settles in to a nice lope after about 30 seconds. We first took her for a quick ride around the neighborhood and even though we were taking it very easy (30 mph) on the initial run the car shifts HARD. We let her run some more then changed the oil out then took her for another easy 20 min ride checking a few things over with HPT and put a few miles on the motor, I will say it feels like it has A LOT of power from my seat of the pants dyno and the stall feels nice and tight.

The car didnt stall out at all via stop and go but it is running a little rick 2-3% and it has some surge going on at a complete stop as well as just idle (wants to walk on its own). Other then that its good to go for the most part. I have an appt on Tuesday with EFI Alchemy so they can set it up with a good tune and button it up. I will then head to the dyno next weekend after some good break in miles to see what she puts down.

All and all I am very happy with the build, but more so happy with all the support I had during it. I want to thank everyone that assisted me in making this whole deal possible but especially Markseta (with EFIAlchemy) for the long hours and time he put into this build. He went so above and beyond on this build it I cant say how much I appreciate it.

Few short days away

Figured I would update this page again. All we have left to do is check the pushrod length order them, add the intake and the misc things, do the fuel pump headers and Wideband, then we can start her up.
