Before - stock LS1, lots of boost, bad ending:
After, forged 364ci iron block...the right way:
A little radial tire action against a beautiful 12-sec GS Vette (stock LS1, GT76):

Here I am lost amongst a sea of Ford's finest...what do I do? Spool it!

Well, everything is fixed, the car's running great, and now it's up for sale.
There are so many fresh items on the car, but I just don't have time to race it anymore.
This is not a thinly disguised racecar. This is a true130+ trap car that was driven 25,000 miles last year. New turbo, new piping, new clutch, new tires, new suspension bits, new head gaskets, so many great additions it's mind-boggling.

So...another turbo dies, and I didn't make it to the Texas mile. I am now going to tear down what is left of the STS system and install a custom bottom-mount twin GT35r fabbed by a guy well-known for his work locally. We'll see how the motor likes the new airflow sources soon in the future.
Stay tuned...

So, I've been to the track a couple times since...best on low boost has been 11.80@129. The first 330' are killing me. MPH is 100 for the 1/8th, but it is slow in ET due to the abhorrent 2.0 60's.
Mike and I continue to work on what is the best combination of tuning and driving to make the car work right in the 1320. I also am planning to run the car in the 2009 Texas MIle.
During a recent non-track event, I ended up killing my clutch brake-boosting from a stop. Now it will not hold at all in 2nd gear pulls. I am upgrading to the new Monster single-disc stage 6 clutch. We will see how well it does compared to the SPEC I got nearly 25000 miles out of.
Next outing will be the first for the new clutch, new head gaskets, 2-step and Bias-ply MT ET Streets. I'm hoping for deep 10's and upper 130's on big boost.
Stay tuned!
