I bought this car a little over a year ago, in Columbus Ohio, and I absolutley love it. I was trying my damnest to get on Bullrun TV Reality show, but I dunno what is up with it or even if they will continue with it.
My car has been featured in Pontiac Performance Magizine in the Fall of 07.

Well,
I installed this last Monday night, went well. Had to rip my knob off the old SLP shifter, but it came right off. Dropped the tranny a few inches, just loosened up the transmission cross member, and took off the bolts, boot, etc.. Put in the Billet Pro, and MY GOD. If you have $450 bucks laying around, this is well worth it. I had this installed in 45 minutes tops, and that was with the knob glued back on with RTV. The shifts are so crisp and tight now, its the way Pontiac should have done it from the beginning.
Completely night and day. I am gonna miss the SLP shifter, it was a good shifter, but nothing compared to the Billet Pro.

Well,
I demodded my buddy's car, and managed to procure this little gem. Billet Specialties pro series shifter is "The" elite shifter for the 04-06 GTO. THis thing is a work of art, and It will be installed very soon.

Well,
I am working on a fairly tight budget, and with any budget, it sucks. So, I went with the low-budget Coated (Armor-Coat) Long Tube Headers from Pacesetter.
So, I bought these from Shamrock Performance out of Chicago, for 507.00 shipped to my front door in about 18 hours from the time I bought them til the time I got them at my house.. Great Shipping, and it was totally free!
Called up my friend, and we installed them the next day 2/19.
Got the car up on the lift, disconnected the JBA Mids, and pulled out the exhuast manifolds. Then we had to take the passenger side coil packs off, and the oil filler tube, to get the new header in, which actually you could have threw the header at the front of the car, and it would have probably fit.. LOL.
The driver's side wasn't as much fun. But, we wiggled around tried to not have to disconnect the power steering lines, but there was just no possible way, so we disconnected them and we had the drivers side in, in about 30 seconds after.
The key to getting the lines hooked back up, we didn't reinstall the rack all the way, and we loosed all the attach points for the lines all the way around the front of the motor, which gave us a TON of play. Plus we could kinda pivot the rack back and forth to get the right angle on the lines to prevent cross threading.
Then we put the car back down, tightened everything on the top of the car back up, installed the mids 02's and reserviced the PS reservoir, and fired er up..
What a difference, all the Flowmaster Drone was GONE.. and it finally sounded like it should, a GTO.
From Start to finish, it took us a total of 4 hours, but 30-45 minutes of that was letting the car cool down...
I have to say, I was concerned, before I got the pacesetters about the build quality of their product, but, when I got them they actually looked and fit remarkably well. Even my friend, which this was his 4th header install, said they went in alot easier than the other headers he had put in.
So in my opinion, if you wanna save 500 bucks, go with Pacesetter, buy a cam or some other mod..
