I have owned this vehicle since June of 2000. I purchased this from a kid that originally bought it from the 1st owner. He decided that cutting the dash up for a stereo and removing some of the original engine parts for aftermarket goodies was the cool thing to do.
The car is an original numbers matching car which includes the entire drivetrain, interior, and exterior. The interior has been freshened up as it was falling apart and the exterior has had a new paint job that was completed in April of 2001. The engine did not survive the first trip up to Reno for Hot August Nights. It spun 4 main bearings, a couple of rod bearings, and broke a piston in half 60 miles into the trip to Reno. It was refurbished/rebuilt and a Ram Air IV cam along with dual valve springs were added.
No power brakes, no disc brakes, no a/c, open trac rear end with 3.08 freeway gears.
