I have owned this car since 1972. I bought it used from my cousin, before i had a license. I drove it for about 5 years before parking it until 1999, when I finally started a frame-off restoration on it. It hit the streets again in spring of 2001.
It's a driver not a trailer queen.
A convertible roof, AM Radio and a 355 posi, thats it!
I added power steering and power brakes only recently.
Restored to original. I'm looking to put a blue neon kit under the car this spring.
Frame was sandblasted and painted with POR15. Sorry folks, no budget for powercoating here.
Restored to original with the exception of a new stereo mounted under the dash, with a connection for my IPod.
Working on a tri-power manifold at this time. It's probably not a performance boost from my edelbrock, but it looks cool and completes the overall resto.
Dual exhaust. Nothing fancy, just a real clean system installed by a local shop.
The engine was rebuilt in 1977 and "fogged" with oil and started every 5 years. It's runs rather well for a 30 year old. A couple of cylinders still show signs of oil burning, but I think the problem is with the old valve seals. Runs great. Recently I swapped out the high lift cam for a Ram Air "068" cam. Runs much smoother with lot's more low end torque for cruise night drives.
Restored to stock. Boxed rear control arms.
M21 close ratio Muncie and a 355 rearend.
Standard stock single point system (out of a 1966 Grand Prix in the junkyard), Added an Accel high output coil and NGK plugs. Turned the key, the engine started, hauled ass, never looked back!
