Well, it's that time of the year ... cleaned 'er up some, and off to the storage she goes for the winter ... would still have another 2 weeks I could drive (season tag), but with temperatures somewhere in the range of 36 through mid 50s, and barely any sunshine, it's no fun ... still need to pull the battery and put on the cover.

While weather was pretty shitty (cool and wet, raining two out of the three days), the cold air was most likely as good for the motor as the cold track was bad for the wheels ... anyway, managed a 13.24 on street tires, so that's pretty good ...
Car's heading for storage in another week or so, it will be the usual long 5 months before I can drive it again ...

Another weekend at the track, and some success finally ... as I had already hoped for after the rebuild, I finally made it into the 12's ... with the help of a set of borrowed drag slicks ... had some trouble doing a decent burnout (never needed to do one before), and was a bit afraid for my clutch and rear end, but managed several 12.9's and a 12.893 (.4 faster than on street tires) ... and a new personal best trap speed of 108 mph (up about 1mph from my street tires). So, a successful weekend
Oh, that is, apart from the -.001 redlight I ran one time ... that s@cks ...
