Saliva - Doperide
I bought this car October 24th, 2001 after seeing it across the street sitting on a used car lot when I was with a friend who was buying a car. It was almost closing time but I wanted to go and look at the car anyway. As I pulled into the lot I saw the lower spoiler and hoped it wasnt a V6 which I didnt want. Thankfully it was a Formula but an M6. I'd taken a "lesson" in a 98 Camaro SS earlier that summer so I went ahead and bought the Formula with 25k miles on it. Sadly I couldnt drive it home and just had to sit in the passenger seat while my friend drove it home. That weekend though I practiced and by Monday morning I was driving it to work. The car has gone through quite a few transformations which I will post pictures showing soon. But I must thank my wonderful boyfriend for all the performance work he's done on my car. He installed the headers, clutch (replaced twice), rear, lower control arms and put so much time in trying to get my power steering leak issue resolved the last 2 months. I helped him with the first clutch install March '05 and the rear this past Sept the best I could. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me and I'm lucky I have him
. He's also the one that inspired me to get a tattoo of the firebird logo in matching colors of the flames

Took it out last night for a little photoshoot to try out some new flashes I bought and was going to go back home but decided to go with my b/f to the local BK for the car show they have every Saturday. We got there and it was pretty dead and left 10 minutes later. How I wished I could turn back time and taken a different way home like I sometimes do or had my radar detector because maybe I would've known a cop was back there but alas I didnt. I came to a light and decided to hit it when the light turned green. I didnt even chirp tires and gathered up speed while eveyrone else was back there. What I think brought he cops attention was the sound of my car. I look in the rearview and thought I saw the old lights but there were other cars in front of it so I couldnt tell. Sure enough he got around the traffic and here he comes and pulled me over. He has no idea how fast I was going because he didnt state it just asked me why I was in a hurry. He wrote me up for no front plate even though I told him it just came from the body shop but the worst was "reckless driving" which is a class 1 misdemeaner it stinkin VA. I asked him why he wrote me up for that and he said "because of the way you took off from the light back there". He couldnt have known how fast I was going since he was stuck behind traffic. Sucks because I already have a reckless/speeding from 2006 so I have to get a lawyer and spend money I dont have on one so I dont loose my license and get it lowered to improper driving. Court date is August 21.

One thing after another with this car. I swear it's cursed. I was suppose to have the car back today but they never called to say it was done. I called early evening and the girl in the office told me a hood strut "froze"...WTF? And they had to order new one?? I'm not paying for it. They never called and said there was any problem and the hood can shut without the strut. My guess is all this went on when the owner wasnt there
Anyway this is how it looked Monday night
