I've always loved F bodies and especially Firebirds since I was a kid, and I finally bought one in October of 2006. It's a pretty typical LT1 F body, just a few basic modifications. I'm pretty happy with the car just the way it is so I don't have big plans in the way of mods. I really enjoy driving it, working on it, and learning about it on forums like LS1tech.com.

I undertook two projects to improve the car's looks for this year, one small, one large. The small project was to replace the stock yellow front turn signals with aftermarket clear housings. They give the front end a nice clean look and don't clash with the green paint as much.
The large project was to repair my cracked dash pad (the top of the dashboard) and wrap it in vinyl. This was a very time consuming project but the end result is worth it, it looks much better than it did stock. I followed the writeup that can be found on a few different web forums, here is a link to it on LS1Tech:

Finally got a few pics uploaded of the car with the new wheels. They are WS6 wheels that have been painted in a dark silver metallic finish. It's definitely different, gives the car a more sinister look.

I changed the exhaust back in early spring but never got around to updating here. Instead of getting a full catback I just replaced the factory crossflow muffler with a Magnaflow single outlet muffler and a turn down. I thought this would look good on my car since it is a Formula and not a Trans Am and doesn't have two openings at the bottom of the bumper for the exhaust tips. Plus the stock chrome tips were always getting sooty and I figured why have nice looking tips if they just keep getting dirty? I think it gives the car a nice clean look, a bit of a sleeper look since it resembles a V6 Firebird exhaust.
The sound out of this thing is great, nice and deep with no rasp at any RPM or throttle. Idles real quiet, not loud at all until I get on it, then it opens up with a nice deep rumble. Plus based on my track times I picked up a few horsepower too, maybe ten rwhp or so.
As you can see this muffler tucks up in there nicely. It's a little smaller (and lighter) than the stock muffler and fits right onto the factory I-pipe (2.5" in / out)
3.23 gears, traction control, t-tops, premium sound system, power windows/locks/mirrors, alarm system, anti lock brakes
Custom painted WS6 wheels
Clear front turn signals
LT1 badges
Dash pad wrapped in vinyl
Moroso cold air intake, throttle body air foil, Magnaflow single outlet muffler
Homemade mods: catch can, silencer delete plug, manual fan switch, hood blanket delete
Rubber: Nitto NT555 tires on the front and NT555R drag radials on the back

Factory Monsoon stereo with ten speakers and external amplifier. Like many other Monsoon owners I have had to replace both front door speakers and both sub woofers due to the originals wearing out and distorting. It cost about $160 for all four speakers but was well worth it; when it's firing on all cylinders this system sounds great.
Drive it!!! Other than that, who knows?

Nice car.
Clean car. I went 13.3 at 109 MPH untuned after headers/true duals. I will have the car dyno tuned here locally by New Era Performance for $275 and will be heading back to the track. Mid-/high-12's should be possible with the right launch/track condit
Let's see some pictures
