I purchased my Arctic White 1995 M6 Firebird Formula on Feb. 15th, 2006. I had been looking for a firebird or Trans Am for awhile with little luck, until this amazing vehicle was put before me. The car only had 35k original miles on it when I purchased it in 2006. The previous owner took very good care of the car. It is pretty rare for a car not to see snow in North Eastern Ohio, but this car has not seen a trace in its existence. The Formula already had some nice bolt on modifications done to it including MOROSO cold air intake, MARCH power pulleys, HYPERTECH power programmer 3, EDELBROCK suspension components, and the BORLA dual exhaust.
With plenty of opportunity to improve various aspects of my car, I quickly began to think of ways to get my hands dirty. I knew of two concepts I wanted to work on… “Make it Faster” and “Make it look better.” I learned of a few good internet sites dedicated to Firebirds and Camaros, so I utilized them to the best of my ability when working on my car. I definately wouldn't have my car anywhere near where it is today without the knowledge and help from my father. Thanks Dad!
One of my original goals was to swap out the stock hood for a ram air hood... needless to say that never worked out very well for me, but instead I completely revamped the engine bay and went the Forced Induction route.
As of right now, Summer 2008, my car is finally off the jack stands and laying some rubber on the road... well, at least on nice days!
