Atco Raceway
Went to Atco today with Jim and Kasey. Met Bogart, Nicole, Steve, Helen and Andrew down there. Kasey, Jim and I took turns running my car. Quickest of 9 runs was 15.66 @ 86.98mph not bad for stock...
Future Mods: Borla Catback exhaust, SLP CAI, whisper lid and thats it...im done modding the daily driver V6...i just want to here my car at idle...then i'll run it again and see if they made much of a differance. After that, make sure i dont do anything else...no more modding the daily driver...i will be tempted to put a wet kit on it and a cam or something...im still considering a mild street cam...we'll see.

Body work begins!
Today, body work began on the 4th gen...pulled her into my class's shop, Joe began banging out the dent on my passanger side 1/4 panel, Will removed interior panels in attempt to get to the front of my 1/4 panel on the driver side...no luck. and i removed the headlight covers and got one sanded down to bare metal...damn factory paint chips so easily! so hopefully, in a few weeks she'll be fucking beautiful again! I'll get around to ordering a pint of paint later on this week...so yippy skippy!! pretty car soon enough!

New headunit, inccident with a few curbs, and remote starter!
Tuesday, December 19th, i got my headunit, ipod adapted and sirius receiver installed...yay to early xmas presents!
So, friday december 22nd, my friend Dan, and i were heading to pick up a friend of mine...stopped a stop sign, making a left turn...meant to tap the gas around the turn to make a green light...mind you its raining, its been raining all day...ass end broke loose and went right, so i steered to the right...normally regains control of my car...well, not that day...once i steered right, car flew left, flew over a huge curb and grass median, barely missed a "no left turn" sign kept spinning left...now facing the wrong way flying sideways over my original lane...fly up onto the curb, over the sidewalk, and slam to a stop into a concrete wall, nearly hitting a telephone pole head on...i slam the car into park, look over at Dan, completely calm and cool..."did that just really happen? am i dreaming?" i turn the car back on, back off the sidewalk, and into a parking lot. thank god no one else was involved...thats the last thing i needed...
got out of the car, thought i tore my car to peices...nothing on the passanger side, looked at my side...nice scrape/dent from the bottom corner of the driver side door to behind my wheel well. Rim got hit pretty good...center cap is busted. tire leaked some air, but held after that...
turns out, after driving to maryland and back for the holidays, i finally took it to JS Performance, had josh look at it...found i half busted off the bracket holding everything to my rear on the driver side...cant beleive i drove to marlyand and back with it like that! how did i not die! welded it back on for me...now currently looking for a new rear...and new wheels...would prefer T/a WS6 wheels, but regular firebird ones work just as well...
and yesterday, drove up to Allentown to Alex's, and we installed my remote starter. discovered the car already had one, and when the dealership had bought it from auction, they never got one, so i of course never got one from the dealership...so we ripped the bitch out, and installed my new one...and its friggin awesome!!!!
