About this Previous Vehicle:

My parents (I made all of the payments before anyone gets wierd/jealous) suprised me with this car the night of the homecoming Dance in October of 1998 -- in fact I had cruised Lou Sobh Pontiac in Conyers, Georgia in my Formula the weekend before and commented on what a nice car this one was! Man talk about forshadowning!

About 2 days later I totalled my black 1998 A4 Formula by virtue of being a stupid 17 year old kid in a car with to much power. I was lucky to survive the wreck as was my friend Cody...fortunately we both walked away wihout a scratch after the car flipped end over end, rolled, and came to rest facing the opposite direction!

But back to the 1999 pictured here -- Great car that lasted me my last year of high school and almost 4 years driving to UGA. I drove it 83k miles without any major issues other then having to replace the alternator in the 70k mile range and having to replace the tires sometime in the 40k range. Although it spent some time in the body shop after I hit a deer at 1:00am in the morning.

I took great care of it and I always got compliments on how clean it was, the color, and the immaculate interior! And when it was totaled after a lady ran a red light and hit me in July of 2003 -- I have to admit I was kind of sadSad

Factory Options:

Pewter Metallic paint, leather (which was quite the oddity on a 3.8, v6 car), T-Tops, factory stereo system, and a power drivers seat.

Exterior Modifications:

LOTS of wax, polish, quick detalier, tire shine, etc... I cut my teeth on car detailing with this car! haha

Also some 3-1/2" stainless HKS tips with intercoolers on them like Borla uses...I had a dual outlet flowmaster put on the car that they were fitted onto.

Interior Modifications:

Back when aftermarket pedals were really fashionable I got an aluminum pedal set from a comany called Razo. It actually looked pretty nice and not at all rice IMHO.

Performance:

Dual outlet Flowmaster (axleback) with HKS tips -- amn I was 18 when I had this put on and all I remember is that, in hindsigh, Midas really raped me on that one! It sounded a bit better, but still was raspy before the car warmed up. Hey I was 18 and wanted to pretend I had a V8! haha
