Welcome the newest member of my family....1995 Firebird....my race car project. I purchased the car on ebay in March 2007. Before I purchased it, it was used as a maid service vehicle. The car had a tired V6 (with leaking freeze plug) & a salvaged title which was perfect for my race car project. Since driving it from the back of the car transporter to my driveway, the car has undergone a huge makeover.
Some of the changes...
S&W Race Cars 10 pt. cage
4.8L V8
TH400
Mickey Thompson 325/50-15 ET Street Drag Radials
Weld Racing Pro Stars
Conversion to 98+ Trans Am body style
Ed Quay rear spoiler
Summit Racing 12 gal. Fuel Cell
Custom graphics (designed by yours truly)

I just spent the last two days of my vacation at the U.S. Nationals in Indy. Today was my first day back to work....yuck! Anyway, I grabbed a few parts catalogs. I was surprised to see that FAST offered sensors for coolant, throttle bodies, etc. I was even more surprised to find out that three of them that I need are cheaper than buying them from GMpartsdirect.com. So, those three little sensors got added to my wish list.

Got the Taiwan specials & one cut-out installed on the car this morning. Now I need to buy some bends and straight pipe to fab up the rest of the exhaust. The front sway bar is coming off later today.

Finished up the fuel system today....thanks Summit, Jegs, Earls, Aeroquip, Russell, NOS & Aeromotive for all your fittings & lines
Currently a V6, but will be V8-powered. I'm parting out the V6 & everything else I don't need to offset the cost of the conversion.
