Purchased in 1997 with 43k miles, the 'bird has been with me for 10 years and 130k miles. Unfortunately the top end has started ticking pretty bad lately, so I've opted to pick up a new daily driver. The 'bird will spend the rest of the winter in the garage and we'll see what spring brings.

Drove out to Island Dragway in Great Meadows, NJ for the annual NJFBOA sponsored East Coast Nationals. Didn't bring home any new personal best times or trophies, but I had a good time despite the hot and humid weather. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for this event next year!

This was the first test-n-tune day since the rebuild in Jan. The track was not prepped very well and traction was a major issue. I did manage a new personal best of 15.42 and given better conditions a low-15 or even a 14 should be possible.

Just finished installing the EBC Sport Rotors and Red Stuff Ceramic Pads on the fronts. Stop good and look great! I also did a rough polish on the calipers while I was in there.

Hey Funk! Thanks for the comment, I envy your bird, I really like what you've done with the 3.4. Awesome work and good luck to ya!
Getting a SLP loudmouth this summer. Twin dual tips...shiney and mean
Sweet ride !! 5 stars for ya,
How's that bird comin' along?
Ha, sorry bro I didn't take the time to post the link on FTV6, but that's fixed now. Looks like I just bought the same converter as you too. Never see you on EOCF anymore much, you should post more. PM me and i'll OP you access into more sections regs
the car is lookin nice!
Thanks man. I got the car last summer and never heard of the W68 package... but I suppose that it has it. Your firebird kicks ass. With all of that mileage you have on it, it leads me to assume that the 3800 is one hell of an engine. If you know anything
real nice bird! sounds sick as hell for a v6!
Can't go wrong with a Firebird, no matter what engine is in it. Nice color. Looks sharp.
Thanks man, I have a long way to go with it though. I love what you've done with your red bird though, it looks pretty sweet.
