I found the car in a field in McCamey, Texas. I thought it was a Camaro and asked the farmer how much. He told me it belonged to his son. So I called him up and we made the deal I picked up the car on my 14th birthday, pretty crazy huh?
Well Its not running, hasnt been since I bought it. My dad helped me buy it so I could build it up and appreciate it more. So over the years I have been aquiring parts and working on it, to one day have the car of my dreams.
From the Factory, it was Verdero Green, had a Vinyl covered roof. It had the H.O. Pontiac 350, it was Automatic. It has the BOP 10 bolt rear end, it was originally the Safe-T-Trac. It had the 14 inch Rally II Pontiac rims. It had A/C. Black Deluxe Interior, with center console. Drum brakes all around, and standard brakes, and non-assisted steering.
The previous owner painted it pearl white, and cut a huge hole in the hood for a scoop from mustang, atrocious.
Well I took off the Vinyl top, and added a front chin spoiler. I will be painting it Black, and make it a 400 Clone, with all matching emblems and Ram Air hood and tach.
Interior is pretty much original, minus new carpet, new headliner, new upholstery on all the seats. Still all Black Deluxe. I am going to purchase the original style manual transmission console. I also maybe will get custom gauge set up, from Covan or something.
Lots of stuff. Starting from the bottom. I have a Nodular Crankshaft. CAT PEP 4340 Steel H-beam connecting rods. Speed Pro pistons, Total Seal rings. High Volume Oil Pump. Milodon Windage Tray. I am planning on getting a Comp Cams retro fitted Roller Cam. I have CAT full Roller Rockers 1.65 ratio. I have Pontiac 670 iron heads, with 2.11 intake valve and 1.77 exhaust valve. I have been mildly porting and polishing the heads. I am planning on getting Ferrera 5000 series valves for it. I want Comp Cam beehive springs, but I dont think they make them for Pontiacs. Top End I have a Edelbrock Torker 2 intake, I plan on getting a Speed Demon Carberator maybe 750 or 850 CFM we will see I think the 850 might be too big. Up front I will be running a true roller chain, dont know from who yet. I have been kicking around the idea of an electric water pump.
Suspension I want to drop it 2inches up front and 1 inch in the back. I want beefier sway bars, both up front , and will be getting one out back. I am considering getting a Hotckis Total Vehicle System. I want to get either some Koni shocks all around or Bilstein. I am going to get Subframe connectors. I will also convert all the brakes to disc and power brakes. I have thinking about going with a rack and pinion conversion too. Out back I am going to get some slapper bars to help tame the Pontiac torque monster.
Starting in the back. I have a Eaton Limited slip with Richmond 3.55 gears, stock axle shafts. The transmission I am running is a Muncie M20 4speed. Although I want to get a T-56 or Tremec 5speed conversion later on.
Nothing, but a Pioneer tape player from the 80s Aww Yea.

I love your 67 Firebird; I just think you've exaggerated the HP a little. 500 HP from a 350 block and you don't have the cam you want or any nitrous? Drop an engine built by Jim Butler, into that car and you'll beat everyone!!! http://www.jbp-pontia
Nice firebird should be a good project *15 stars*
