About this Current Vehicle:

I got this car in Orlando, FL just a month after turning 18. What a dream come true. Hopefully I can share many years to come with it, if I take care of it!

Mechanicus Fixus

Lance has the car again, I'm getting my final repairs done before everything is complete. Oil pan, gas tank and oil sending unit all done over the weekend while I'm gone in Jacksonville.

Now I just begin saving money for any future tragedies that, with my luck, will most assuredly fall on my poor car.

Another update

Well since my last update, a few things have happened. I've finally gotten my new oil pan for the Fiero. Now all I have to do is schedule an appointment with Lance and I will get my new gas tank, oil pan and oil sending unit all done at once. No sense in making multiple trips and spending extra on gas.

Aside from all that, my ignition coil went out and so did a spark plug wire. I had Taylor custom-cut spark wires from the previous owner, and bought a new MSD Blaster coil. Running great again!

I'm getting closer to a point where I can save less for repairs and focus on the performance.. looks will come last.

Things looking up

Well, a lot has happened since my last update.

It turns out that the problem causing the radiator fan to stop was that it wasn't grounded. Before that was fixed though, TheDon16 and I drug it up to the shop at Lances. On the way there though, the car fell off the back of the trailer and pulled the whole system 4 inches forward.

Needless to say, this scared the ever loving shit out of me. I thought my car was done. Fortunately, this wasn't the case, and $90 of labor later, the car is fixed (technically, $196, but TheDon's father covered the other half of the cost. =) )

After that I bought some new Hankook radials for the Proudling. Taking it to Lances on Monday to get a coolant spurt in the back looked out, I think the tightening bracket around that right side tube is screwy.

Until the next time!

Nice Fiero. I have to admit, I would love to have one of these. It's one of the very very few American mid-engine vehicles ever to be made. In fact, when the Fiero was introduced in September 1984, it was the first 2-seat, mid-engined production car ever
