1986 Pontiac Fiero SE 2m6. My dedicated autocrosser/fun cruiser. Autocross just for fun though, the stereo and dynamat don't lend themselves well for racing eh?

180,000 miles and counting. This guy just keeps on truckin!
This 2.8 is about due for retirement though, it really doesn't seem like it has as much power as it shoud, and seems to be experiencing some blowby and compression loss. I'm not to worried about it, so long as it keeps running. See "To Do" list under mods for why
Air Conditioning, Rally gages (Oil Pressure and Voltage), Power decklid release, rear defrost, power windows, luggage rack
Using 15x7" rims from GT model instead of 14x6" that are stock for the SE model.
Center console now a subwoofer box, MrMikes Leatherette seats, custom shift knob and full Dynamat application
Trueleo headers and intake manifold
Polyurethane bushings at all suspension joints, Stainless braided brake hoses
Polyurethane engine mounts
Pioneer MP3 CD head unit, Pioneer 4x10" dash speakers, Kenwood 3x5" B-pillar speakers. 10" Kicker CVR10 in custom center console enclosure with Alpine 400W V-poer series amplifier
3.4 v6 from an early 4th gen Camaro will make for a nice stock-looking drop-in replacement for my tired old 2.8. Intake and headers all fit the 3.4s. Should be fun...
PAINT! good lord the poor exterior of this car has been neglected for too long. I need to get it painted (or do it myself) so I can put all the trim pieces back on so it looks like less of a mullett mobile :)

Thanks!
Nice car!!!!
Stored? Not with 178000 miles.
I drive it a lot, especially when the 'maro is down being tinkered with (stupid internal slave cylinder). It's kinda slow honestly, but it's a blast to drive.
I've always been a little jealous of the Fiero badge. I like the Firebird logo, too, but the Fiero badge has always look exotic. You don't see too many Fiero's around anymore. The GTOs are going the same direction. I would definitely keep that one stor
