This car used to belong to one of my uncles. He along with 2 of my other uncles built the car in the early 80s to go bracket racing. After spending paycheck after paycheck on the car for almost a year, he gave up on the project and parked it. The car traded hands amongst them over the years, but it never moved. It only had about 500 miles on the engine at the time, and they were street driven miles. The car has been sitting since 83, and I asked my uncle if it was okay to work on it. He said I could so I started working on it in Sept 2006. I got the car running after working on it on the weekends for 3 months, and got it drivable after about 3 more months of work. Now, a year and a half after I started working on it, I feel confident that I could drive it anywhere. The drivetrain work is finished. Now its time for some serious body work, paint, and interior work.
