My boyfriend came home one day and told me about a wagon for sale. We went out immediately to go look at it. I thought it was a Malibu since we came upon it from the rear. But it wasn't. I honestly had no idea what the hell it was. I knew it was a Cutlass, but a Cutlass Cruiser? I've never seen those anywhere. Not on the road, not at show.. nowhere. So my boyfriend called the phone number on the window and spoke to the owner. He was asking $600. We went home, got together some money and called him back. We talked him down to $400 and met him 30 minutes later. Good thing we did, because apparently there were a lot of inquiries about it.
It had very little rust for it being so old and here in the North. It was originally painted a creme color from the factory. The guy that sold it to us painted it red (obviously a Maaco job) to "attract" buyers. lol.
We got it home and checked it out more closely. It was in amazing condition. Hell, it's in better condition than my '96. It's a tank. I love this car.
