1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE with Chevy 383

This car was brown and well used when I bought it. This was my second RX-7. I always wanted a GSL-SE, as they were the best of the first generation RX-7. The motor never ran right in this car, and eventually would not start. I undertook a V8 conversion due to the cost of fixing the fuel injected rotary. I bought a used Chevy gen 1 350 motor that had been bored and stroked to a 383. I used a T5 five speed from a Camaro.

This car would never run cool enough here in FL to be driven despite numerous cooling system configurations.
