The Winter Beater
About this Current Vehicle:
I bought this vehicle from my Uncle last Feb. 20th Just to last through the winter while the Xtreme is in the grage. The Truck had 275,000 miles and would not Idle when I picked it up. Turns out that the IAC port was plugged tight and the distrubiter bearing surfaces were worn out causing a rolling idle, so I put in a new distributer, plugs, wires, cleaned the throttle body, intake gaskets, and a oxygen sensor. But it is still COLD BLOODED any ideas?
Factory Options:
Power windows, Power locks, heat, a/c, lights, radio, seats, seat belts, wheels, engine, air filter, hood, fenders, doors, the usual...
Exterior Modifications:
RUST, CHEVROLET wheels
Interior Modifications:
Broken door handle, worn out door hinges
Performance:
NOTHING AT ALL.
Suspension/Chassis:
STOCK, new shocks but stock brand.
Drivetrain:
STOCK, leaking front axle seals.
Electronics:
CD player
To-Do List:
Keep it running for at least another winter
