The 5.3L Vortec swap was completed early 2002, and this was my daily driven vehicle until mid 2006. It has run a best ET of 12.35 @ 108, and has surprised many a Mustang on the street. I am currently accumulating parts to replace the engine with a lower mileage shortblock, home ported heads, and larger cam. Faster track times coming soon.

Harwood 4" cowl induction hood, roll pan, smoothed body seams, 2002 S10 ZQ8 wheels(street), and Weld Prostars(strip).
Dash mounted Sunpro tach. Floor shifter and center console donated by a 2000 GMC Jimmy.
Vortec 5300 swap. Cam Motion 206/214 510/511-114 cam, LS6 valve springs, & home made headers.
Tuning by Thunder Racing.
Lowered 4" w/ chassis tech coil/leaf springs and spindles.
Trans Am rear sway bar and Lakewood traction bars.
DeCarbon shocks front and rear.
Stock 4L60E w/ PTC 10" 3500 lock-up stall.
10 bolt rear w/ 4.10 gears, auburn posi, and 98-up 28 spline S10 axles.
