The switch

My first attempt was with a s/c , a vortech ys trim, i made 710hp. at the wheels with it. I took it to the track about 3 times, the best time i ran was a 9.55@ 131 with the belt breaking right into 3rd. gear. Thats probably 3 or 400 feet before the end of the track. So needless to say I was not happy because I could not keep a s/c belt on it long enough for a full pass. So I went back to the drawing board, weighted my options and costs. I decided to switch to a turbo. So far , it seems to be prommising, I made 801hp to the wheels, up from 710, with less boost 18.8lbs. Now I have to change my reaar gears to a 3.27 and get my loose converter tightened up. I cant wait to get it back to the track, I know now that I should be able to make a full pass. I am hoping to run low 9's or high 8's. we will see........
