The best the coupe ran was 7.21 - 660, and 11.42 - 1320 back in late '96 early '97. Didn't break any records but sure was fun! It had a set of GT-40 iron heads, E cam, out of the box Edelbrock Performer intake, exhaust, gears and some suspension with an old 125 dry shot.

Saleen wing, Welds.... that's about it oh and a hood.
A tach...
Before I sold it, I gutted under the dash and removed alot of weight but put everything back together so it would look pretty much stock..... aside from the 10pt cage lol. I even tried to make the factory rear seat lighter other than the cage sticking through it.
73 C&L maf, 70mm TB, Edelbrock Performer intake, 24lb inj., 1.72 rrs, LTs, 2 chambers, turndowns, Pullies, Electric fan, NOS dry shot, later bought the Edelbrock Big Shot plate but never ran more then I did with the dry shot. ( the tranny broke, took the car down to start another phase..... and it never ran again before I sold it)
Before I sold it though, I had bought a set of Old style TFS Hi Ports that PBF race ported raised the intake runners about a 1/2" and D shaped the exhaust ports, 2.08 int, 1.625 exh DelWest valves. Had a Eldelbrock Victor Jr (before there was a Super Victor) intake worked over like crazy, had the runners raised then ported and a Dominator flange welded on and then bead blasted to give it a somewhat cast look. I also bought some 2" primary 4" collector headers. I got me a 69 block that I never did anything with but then the Divorce came..... yea, that sucked lol.
90/10s, 50/50s subframes.
I had a cage put in it after I took the car down.
3.73s on the completely stock rear.
After I took the car down, I had my chasis guy beef up the rear end with 9" flanges, braces, girdle with Moser 33 spline axles and a spool.
MSD 6AL, Blaster coil, Tach.
