About this Current Vehicle:

Here you have our newest low buck shop car. One 1988 4 cyl mustang notchback. Yep its a 350 dollar lump with a few bumps and bruises but overall its in pretty good shape. Stick around as we transplant one 2.3T 4cyl turbo motor and trans into this grocery getter. We have big plans for the car, just not to sure what we are going to do with it.

Imediate plans call for the turbo motor swap, suspension work and big brakes using factory parts.

We had planned on turning the car into a fun daily driver, ocasional 1/4 mile track car and open track car.

Any one have any good ideas?

Rear end/suspesnion

Alot of work done today. Swapped the 7.5 open diff out for a 3.73 geared 5 lug disc brake rear end. Konis installed along with the adjustable lowers and the koni quad shocks.

More work done.

Well project "ultra cheap" is getting a little bit closer. The car runs and drives however I still need to finish a few things. Most of the interior is back in it along with used carpet from a wrecked car and a set of SVO seats. The engine is tight and strong and the turbo spools well. I still have some wiring left and what apears to be a big boost leak from somewhere. I suspect the bypass valve is the problem.

I am hoping to have the car road worthy and in daily driver staus here shortly.
