Found it out past Seagoville, in Crandall, TX. Thought it was a great deal, though it's a Sport Coupe, so that'll be a little tough, but I'm probably going to make a carson top for it.
Rumble Seat
None yet. I'm planning on channeling it (possibly over a set of deuce rails) going without hood sides, going to leave it unchopped.
Probably tuck and roll buckets - probably custom made from aluminum.
Rear brakes will be pulled from my parts car alfa...they're 15" aluminum finned drums. Front brakes are unknown, probably Ford F-100 units. Maybe no front brakes at all. Just kidding.
Going for drop-axle, and some form of impressive live-axle suspension set-up.
Building a monster Y-Block. Preliminary plans (asterisk indicates already acquired):
292 cid Y-Block* bored out to 312 cid
-Spica Mechanical fuel injection
-EZCG heads*
-Forged crankshaft
-double roller chain
-10:1 up to 11:1 compression ratio
-Set of headers. Possibly lake pipes.
I want a naturally aspirated beast from hell
It will probably be backed up by a ford 9" and some sort of 3-speed on the floor, possibly a truck 4 speed.
None. Old school, baby.
Get started.
