I bought this car in September, 1963 about 6 months before the Mustang came out. It was not a Sprint, in that it didn't have the phony wire wheel hubcaps, the phone wood steering wheel, the factory tach, engine chrome and louder muffler. But is was a V8 (260) hardtop with a 4 speed. I later modified it with a mild Erson cam and a 4 barrel. Not fast but fun. I was very proud of it.
V8, 4 speed, bucket seats, radio and heater (yes that was an option).
Chrome wheels from Appliance Plating and Cheater Slicks from Inglewood Tire Co. I also had the V8 emplems removed.
Seat Belts :) and tachometer
Mild Sig Erson hydraulic cam and a 4 barrel
Srping spacers in the front (for awhile)
