About this Previous Vehicle:

Magazine project car - Stock 302 powered Ford Fairlane has been upgraded with a stroked 351W engine (to a 408) and a nine-inch rearend to run around 11.90 in the quarter mile.

Been working on the car and almost all the systems have been revamped. Just finishing up all the last details. I really wanted to have the car keep a "hot rod" look and not be as modernized as my Camaro.

Factory Options:

Couldn't get out of it's own way when stock. Ran a 17.64 at the track.. ack!

New engine is in. Hoping for 11.90 quarter mile times. Chassi dynotuned the car and she put down 448 rwhp and 404 rwtq.

Exterior Modifications:

Vintage Wheel Works 17" S60 wheels 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. Tires are Nitto NT555 with 255/40/17 front and 285/40/17 rear. Added Torino GT hood (painted flat black), front spoiler and I painted the rear valance black as well.

Interior Modifications:

A Grant Steering wheel and aftermarket audio system. TheProcar Ralley seats have been installed in matching blue vinyl. New carpet, vinyl top and other parts from Dearborn Classics.

Autometer retro-styled gages, Procar Ralley seats done in matching blue vinyl.

Air conditioning was added from Vintage Air

Performance:

Best quarter mile time of 11.99 at 113 mph.

408 cubic inch stroked 351W

552 hp and 530 pounds of torque on engine dyno.
